My autorama drama

I'm taking the directing class this semester. Our first assignment was to create an Autorama- A ten minute piece about the high points of our life. Basically we were told to find a "frame" to tie together our story and that it had to be theatrical- we couldn't just stand there and talk- it had to have some movement or physical imagery or a theme.
Well the first guy to go up was Steven and he made up songs about his life. They weren't good songs, and he will be the first to tell you he isn't the best guitar player. But his final chorus went "It's my autorama, my autorama-drama - it's my autorama" which is so insidiously catchy that everyone in the class can't get it out of their heads! We have been going around the department all week humming it. "The life of Steven, in ten minutes even, It's my autorama" . My Autorama was about the various costumes I have worn. I brought out an imaginary tickle trunk. It went well - but it's not gong to be as immortal as that song. Other people made songs about their lives - we are thinking of recording an autorama album. Stay tuned for details!
