An apple a day
Well the set-up was a bit of a non-event. I stuck myself in the coat check of the theatre -so the only time I saw him was when he checked his coat and when he picked it up. Coat check is
perfect because it affords an escape hatch backstage should things get awkward. I did see my friend Penny Miller (who, like me, is almost always addressed by both names) who is getting married on New Years Eve- her stagette is next weekend. The stagette is a surprise and it was all I could do not to let something slip. She wants to direct me and another actor in a collaborative piece about a brother and sister who have very different perspectives on a traumatic event. So I'm going to mull over that for awhile.
Introduced more people to Apples to Apples last night - It is a great game, which relies on perception and persuasion rather than unrelated trivia.
My favorite of the evening was the word swift
and the choices? socks, the Berlin wall, and the atomic bomb - how is a girl to choose?

Sheri: That Apples to Apples game looks awesome. I remember it being played at the Jordan's New Year's party last year, but I didn't get to play it... I think Krista's family might have it though.
Also, I almost always get addressed by both my names as well.. We should have a club or something!
And that play sounds really interesting.
i love that you rhyme with derriere.
i never got a chance to play it either, though the people who were seemed very absorbed with it.
you know what's worse than being called by your first and last name?
people automatically shortening your name without your consent.
*vicki*
ugh! I mean really!
and its always middle-aged women who do this.
i'm not sure why.
must be a generational thing.
At least, Victoria, your name doesn't shorten to a plastic surgery enhanced pop star! "S/Cher"
alright then, SheriEyre. no more Sher it is.
and thanks for never calling me kimmy.
I don't mind nowdays when people call me Sher- I actually quite like it.- but It used to make me feel like i should be wearing something with fishnet or a odd headdress by Bob Makie
Excellent, love it! » » »
